ACRI's Atlantic Microarray Facility collaborates with Genome Atlantic

The ACRI’s Atlantic Microarray Facility is collaborating with Genome Atlantic on their Atlantic Cod Genomics and Broodstock Development Project. This project is managed by Genome Atlantic, and funded in part by Genome Canada and the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (see www.codgene.ca for a complete list of supporting partners). The role of ACRI’s Atlantic Microarray Facility is to develop and provide a cod microarray platform. The oligonucleotides were developed, and the first 100 microarrays have been printed. In the following weeks, ACRI and Memorial University will be conducting a series of experiments using the microarray and cod tissue samples collected by the cod research group.
